‘My Brother With A Bloodied Nose’: An Ode to Abhinandan’s Poise

After wing commander Abhinandan Varthaman captured by pakistani forces, India held her breath. But Indians hoped that this wasnt true. But pakistan  released bloodied images and videos of our brave soldier, and our worst fears were confirmed. While India played a strong deplomatic move for his safe return, his friend karnataka based WC Varun Ramachandra Iyer penned a beautiful poem for him. Read below “My brother with a bloodied nose, An officer and gentleman. Landed across the Line of Control today. Ejecting after doing the best he can. They caught him on their land and then, Thrashed him like perhaps any of us would. Till the army stepped in and dispersed them. And rescued him while they could.
